1999 Yamaha Gp1200 Factory Racing Wave Erunner

You are looking at one of only 6 GP 1200 Greater Yamaha Race Boats ever built. It is a SMC hull Carbon-fiber cowling, dash panel & rear seat with no expense spared. These cost over $32,000 to build when new. A guy bought this boat from Greater yamaha in 1999 for $22.000 from Greater yamaha . This boat was ran in the 1998 ijsba 1200 pro class. The engine was hand built by Todd LaChance one of the best in the business. It is a triple cylinder triple pipe monster. The engine is all assembled with titanium rods, the pipes are Triple Factory Pipe set. The engine has no powervales to gam up the exhaust pors in the cylinders. The ski breathes through a set of Buckshot carbs. The power goes through a Skat Trak Magnum pump with a billet aluminum PTO and titanium drive shaft. The ignition is MSD total loss so the ski does not charge the battery when it is running. The ski has UMI steering as well as a manual operated trim tabs. The ski runs on VP C16, as it has 180lbs of compression so this in turn will rip your arms off when you nail it. I have not been beat by anything I mean anything to 50mph. This boat was designed to get from buoy to buoy in a hurry and it does. The engine have 4.5 hours on it I don't know how much the ski weighs but myself and a buddy can lift it onto a trailer with ease. I have ridden the boat around all day with minimal water in the bilge. The ski does have a bilge pump installed as well. The ski is the famous Greater Yamaha blue with the engine compartment in purple flame retardant paint. It was part of the championship [removed phone] World Champion With Bill Pointer Jr at the Helm and Carrinton Lloyd III rookie of the year in 1998 , The ski looks fast and it have such a throaty exhaust note that it turns head where ever you ride it. All new fuel filters, and the carbs were re built 3 years ago. The fuel capacity is around 6 gallons as the tank is full of foam to prevent the fuel from sloshing around.
